There’s no label or publisher involved, so I’m the only person who can grant permission. Getting in touch with me directly is the only way to license my work, and I’m always happy to hear from you.

Free to use, with credit
For educational and non-profit work, my music is free to use. This includes:
- University, conservatory, and school projects
- Student choreography, class performances, and examination pieces
- Non-commercial and non-profit performances where there is no substantial income and no paid or ticketed audience
All I ask is that you credit me properly, and that you get the music directly from me rather than pulling it from a streaming service — I will send you the highest-quality, most up-to-date master of the piece.
Licensed for a fee
I license my music for paid and professional use. This includes:
- Paid or ticketed events and performances
- Commercial projects of any kind
- Professional theatre, ballet, and dance companies (licensed as grand rights)
- Film, television, advertising, and other media synchronisation
For these, I will provide a straightforward licensing agreement and an invoice. I retain ownership of my work – these are licences, not buyouts – and I am always happy to talk through terms that suit your project and your budget.
Independent and non-profit projects
If you are an independent artist or a non-profit group with real passion but no budget, please talk to me anyway. I understand the financial situations we artists can all find ourselves in. In many cases I am glad to grant permission free of charge now, with the understanding that if the work goes on to find commercial success, we can arrange a fair exchange down the line.
Crediting my work
When you use my music, please credit me clearly. A simple line such as “Music by Davidson Jaconello” together with the title of the piece is perfect, and wherever possible a link back to this website or to my streaming pages is warmly appreciated.
